Jack Dawson, the founder of Dawson Vision Productions was born and raised in Leominster Massachusetts & grew up loving making others smile, laugh & feel entertained. His love for being behind the camera stems back to his senior year of high school when he took a class called Basic TV. From there, he knew he wanted to be behind the camera, but was unsure of where to start. After attending Mount Wachusett Community College, graduating with his associates after 3 years he gained experience in live TV directing, editing & camera operation and eventually continued his education at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in 2015.

He continued to gain experience in live TV, broadcast journalism & video production, while also taking up photography as a hobby at the time, taking photos of his friends at sports games. He decided to pivot career paths during his final semester of senior year and decided he did not want to do broadcast journalism anymore, and leaned more towards a creative career in video production, and photography. A year removed from graduating college in 2018, Once again, starting from scratch, he didn’t know where to start when it came to creating his own business. So he tried a little bit of everything. And found a passion for music videos, weddings, brand commercials, lifestyle & all different types of portraiture including senior portraits, families & events. Jack has worked with notable artists such as 50 cent, Joyner Lucas, Snow Tha Product, Recycled Percussion, Exitfame, Ben Grizz, Kaseek Ortiz & many more.

Jack continues to grow his business as he now pivots into the movie industry, focusing on large to small scale film productions carrying a contrasty cinematic style to bring out the best visuals every story has to offer. What started as a dream has become a reality for Jack, through hard work, dedication, and most importantly, a client experience like no other. Jack’s goal from the beginning to this day has always been to help others stand out in their unique creativity through visuals in video and photo, impacting everyone who he works with with as a memory and experience that they will cherish forever.
